About Hexaciv

Hexaciv (hexaciv.com) is a preparation site for the French civic exam. The exam has been compulsory since 1 January 2026 for a first multi-year residence permit, a first resident card and naturalisation. Hexaciv offers a free 40-question mock exam, corrected in French, English or Arabic, and a paid Pass for more practice.

  • A free mock exam. 40 questions (28 knowledge and 12 situation questions), 45 minutes, no account. You see your score by theme, then the correction of each question with the Ministry of the Interior sheet where the answer is found. See the test page.
  • The Pass Examen (Exam Pass), €19, one payment. The full bank (504 knowledge questions and 100 situation questions written by us), the revision plan and a readiness score that shows when you can book the real exam. Refund terms are on the refund and guarantee page.
  • Answers in your language. Each question and its correction can be read in French, English or Arabic. The official exam is in French, so a button shows the French text next to the Arabic version.

Facts come from official sources: the Ministry of the Interior civic training site (formation-civique.interieur.gouv.fr, Etalab 2.0 licence), the order of 10 October 2025 and Service-Public. Questions, options and explanations are written by us, and each answer cites its source sheet. The Ministry does not publish the 12 situation questions of the exam. Ours are written by us in the same spirit and are not the real questions.

The detail: method, sources and corrections.

Hexaciv is not a French government site, is not affiliated with any ministry and does not run the real exam: you register with an approved centre. It is not a game, and it has no connection with any other company that has a similar name. The Pass does not guarantee success, and we publish no success rate.
