Of 470 listed exam venues, 99 show their fee on their own page: from 55 to 100 €, 73 € in the middle. The other 371 do not publish it on the pages we read. The Ministry says 60 to 80 €. A few published fees are lower or higher; each fee links to the centre's page.

No centre is listed on 21 October 2026 in: Creuse (23), Meuse (55). FEI pre-registration lets you choose the centre you want (FEI candidate manual): look at the neighbouring départements.

The Ministry of the Interior writes that “the price of taking the exam, freely set by the exam centres, is between €60 and €80 depending on the centre” (answer to the National Assembly, 11 August 2026).

Before you pay 60 to 80 €, see where you stand: 40 timed questions, corrected in English, French or Arabic.

Our rule of thumb: book only after 34 out of 40 on two mock exams. A fail means registering and paying again.
