Key points of the sheet

  1. Vaccination uses the body's natural defences to strengthen the immune system. Some vaccines are compulsory. Respecting the vaccination obligations and the vaccination schedule is important: it is more effective for yourself and for others.
  2. The list of recommended or compulsory vaccines is in the health record book (carnet de santé). To enter a crèche or a school, a child must have certain vaccines.
  3. "Mon Bilan Prévention" lets you take an overall look at your health, outside of any illness. It identifies lifestyle habits that can harm health and strengthens the follow-up of physical and mental health. It offers extra advice and consultations if needed.
  4. This scheme is free and offered to people over 18. You make an appointment with a doctor, a nurse or an authorised pharmacist.
